COME DANCE WITH US!

The New Jersey Branch of the RSCDS holds classes and parties open to all who are interested in Scottish Country Dance.

2025-2026 DANCING

We dance Tuesday evenings most of the year.

7:00-8:15 pm: If we are having a new dancer class you may come and 'angel for the beginner class. Otherwise, the first hour will feature foundational, popular, and easy-to-learn dances..

8:15-8:30 pm: Tea break.

8:30-9:45 pm: Focuses on progressively more challenging dances.

You are welcome to dance the whole night, arrive at the start and leave when you need to, or arrive later and stay to the end.

RSCDS NJ BRANCH MEMBERSHIP

Our RSCDS membership year runs from July through June.

The membership forms for the 26-27 season will be posted here soon.
Fees will remain the same as last year.

2026 SUMMER DANCING

The Ho-Ho-Kus class will be dancing 8 Tuesdays in June and July this year. Dates are June 9, 16, 23, 30 and July 7, 14, 21, 28.
Summer hours are 7:30-9:30 pm.

Note that the first 2 dates, June 9 and 16, we'll be testing dances for RSCDS book 55, which is a lot of fun if you've never done it.

The remainder of the summer will be general social dancing. We don't dance in August, and will begin next season's classes on September 16, 2026.
